What is a good information technology argument topic?

For my final paper I’m supposed to come up with an argument dealing with my major, which is information technology. Anyone have any ideas?

    Create a video blog…instantly.

    You should be able to find a huge amount of material on intellectual property and it’s pretty interesting. The arguments involved relate to who owns information and to what extent that ownership goes.

    Sound simple I know, but a good argument here is :-

    Is it better for my computer (wear and tear) if I leave my computer on 24/7, or to turn it off ?
    Also Try the same argument in relation to power consumption.
